Jenn Posted January 18 Posted January 18 I'm just returning from a vacation earlier in January. I cruised with my family, my parents and a few other friends. It was a blast. Weather was not perfect, but it definitely beat out 30 degrees and snow they got at home! We stopped at Grand Cayman, Costa Rica, Panama, and Cozumel. Grand Cayman had the best beach, Panama was cool to see the locks and ships, Costa Rica was hilarious - we went white water rafting in the pouring rain - and Cozumel was perfect beach day for the final port. So, with that in mind, my kit idea would be a Cruise kit. All things green and lush, a ship, silly word art, flowers, foodie items, sunsets, and fun times. (Think Belly Flop Contest, Water Slides and Obstacle Courses, Theatre Shows, Darts in the Game Room, Casino Night, Drinks on the Pool Deck, Pineapple Drinks, Bingo, Towel Animals, Fancy Restaurants, etc) What would you want to see? We can make a thread of ideas for the designers if they ever need some extra mojo, lol! 3 Jenn aka jk703
kendrawalter Posted January 18 Posted January 18 I've found I tend to put off doing the pages I have preplanned to go in our books that relate to fairs, festivals, amusement parks, etc because I never really feel inspired to do them. I think there might be something there...food/drink/snacks, rides, games, music, shows, craft vendors...

Oh yes, I think of music festivals, renaissance faires, seafood fests, food truck and craft beer shindigs.... and so many more! I guess a general theme might work for those, rather than trying to mix them all up! Can you see a giant turkey leg, a beer stein and a music stage in the same kit? lol! 1 1 Jenn aka jk703

Mrivas Posted January 18 Posted January 18 I would love to see a wedding collection for a simple wedding. I have yet to document those pages in my PL album. Also a graduation kit and birthday collections.
Leontien Posted January 18 Posted January 18 I would love to see a kit related to trips to museums, art galleries, visiting cities, culture etc. 4

breeoxd Posted January 18 Posted January 18 I could use a board game kit. All the ones I have are pretty outdated. 3

So many are super specific with monopoly money and sorry pieces. I'd love to see just meeples, and a board with nondescript words! 2
littlekiwi Posted January 18 Posted January 18 Working Kit with maybe an add on of job searching? Leaving home/flying the best from the child's perspective Anything with buses or trains that isn't super cutsy or a school bus 1
Tracie Posted January 18 Posted January 18 I always need Disney themed products lol! I would never say no to travel kits. Oh... and city kits, but city living, not tourist. Tracie Radtke Instagram | Facebook

And I second or third the idea of a city living kit

Gaelle Posted January 19 Posted January 19 I always love boys / teenagers kit. And if I can find a kit about taekwondo or gymnastics (for boy) it would be awesome. - G A E L L E - my gallery
Vrielinkie Posted January 19 Posted January 19 Travel! Maybe focusing on sustainable travel, so i.e. by train? Uhm so train travel basically 🚆 🌍 2 // CT member for Dúnia Designs & Scrapping With Liz \\ = My gallery =
Lori Posted January 19 Posted January 19 Concerts/live music shows (not kid's band and chorus concerts). I have one or two kits but updated with things to document mobile entry, insane lines for restrooms, beverage & merchandise options, rock, indie & alternative music, opening acts & main acts, set lists, outdoor venues, etc. Seeing live theater/sporting events (ie hockey - specifically NY Rangers hockey, lol). Bonding with the person who you went with to these things. Or maybe just something about the ties that bond type of kit that could be used for many different things. We are a ski, snowboard and snowmobiling family and I love to snowshoe. We also have hiked in winter months which is harder for me to find kits to use. So things for winter outdoor activities that aren't in the typical blue & silver colors. Maybe incorporating greens of the pine trees, trail signs (green, blue, black diamond trail markers), chair lifts, apres ski, stats for distance, elevation, etc documented, mountain life, etc. Kids growing up and moving out/leaving for college/spreading their wings/etc. from a parent's view - flying the nest (then returning home after graduation, lol), the emotions of a mama bear, heartstrings, etc. Not sure what a kit would look like but it would probably make me cry a lot with the journaling I'd do. Maybe that's why I avoid documenting this...🤣 2

I love your list, especially opening acts/main acts and set lists! We get a lawn pass for the amphitheater (PNC Arts Center, NJ) every year, and I make my pass work! Last year I went to 15 shows! So much fun! The excitement, and positive vibes I get from live concerts are amazing! Devils fan here! hahah! I would love a scenic view/hiking kit. I have so many great view pictures from hikes! Just being out in the trees, waterfalls, the activity, just gets you going! And kids... growing up, life changes, hopes, dreams I have and what they do. I would pry get really emotional as well! 2 Jenn aka jk703
