Hello everyone and welcome to Hey Scrapper! This is Maribel and I'm so excited to be here hosting my first challenge, an album cover.

My  challenge for you this month is to create an album cover. For me that is usually the last thing I do for my Project Life book but this year I am starting with the album cover. I try to keep it simple with the main focus being the year in the front and a patterned paper for the back cover.

For this challenge all you have to do is create an album cover that includes the date whether it be the year, month or a date range. You can add anything else you would like to it and it can be digital or hybrid.

For my album cover I used a patterned paper, number stamps, a couple of stamps and a word strip. I document my Project Life in a 9x12 book format. These are the front and back for my book:

Another example: this is the album cover for my December book created in a 6x8 size

Thank you for the challenge @Maribel

I love it Gaelle! I was planning on using that template too. Love that you used the same kit but it’s still so different. Thank you for playing.

The cover has always been an after-thought for me, so this is a great challenge!

It’s the same for me, a last minute thing right before I order my book. 😆 First time doing it at the beginning of the year.

I'm scrapping 8x10 this year and decided to go simple with my cover. Was feeling optimistic that I'll have lots of pages in my book and will need to split the year in two, so I went ahead and labeled this January through June lol!
